I now must decide if I want to interview The Palaminoes about upcoming gigs, their new album release, or a mix of all of the question. As they are not a well known band I think I will ask them a range of questions so that the readers will become more familiar with the band. The questions I will ask my band are:
- If you were an animal, which one would you be, and why?
- Who are your major influences in music and why?
- Do you have a record contract? Or are you interested in getting one?
- Could you ever see yourselves on the X-Factor?
- How do you feel about programmes like the X-Factor which take fresh talent and get the most money out of it as they can?
- So, you're an upcoming band, how do you feel about the music industry nowadays?
- How do you promote yourselves? Do you have a website?
- Do you tweet?
- Do you think your home environment has shaped you as a band?
- You’ve been accused of jumping on the bandwagon of other local bands such as The Wombats, how do you feel about this?
- For any readers who aren’t sure of who you are, what genre would you describe your music?
- Have you got a fan base together yet?
- Is there any band which you aspire to be like?
- Barry, as the lead singer of the band, do the other members follow your orders?
- How do you feel about 'hand picked bands'? Or should bands be formed through friendship and a love of music?
- Have you got any songs soon to be released?
- What inspires you to write your lyrics. Do they have much meaning?
- What is your favourite memory as a band?
- What is the best gig you have ever played and why?
- Do you ever receive fan mail? If so what is the strangest thing you have ever received?
- In your eyes, which is the best song you’ve produced?
- What is the goal in the end? Would you want to go as big as world tours, or just stick to the UK?
- Who chooses the bands outfits? Do you ever hate them?
- What's the craziest thing you've ever done at a gig? E.G. crowd surfing
